Lust for Yust, Stinkin' Badges, and A Little Draft Advice

odetteyustman.jpgHot on #12 Natalie Gulbis' tail is Odette Yustman.  If this picture doesn't brighten your day then I don't know what to say...

Lock up the women and children.  The mean streets of Phoenix just got a little meaner without the Big Cactus -http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3459208 - laying down the law...

We're now only about forty hours from the start of
the NBA Draft and the trade rumors are beginning
to swirl.  Unfortunately for the eleven remaining
Bucks fans, none of those rumors involve anyone
on the woefully inadequate Milwaukee roster. If GM John Hammond simply selects Joe Alexander
(not a bad player, but likely only has a ceiling of a Matt Harpring) with the eighth pick and makes no
other trades then I'm officially done with the Bucks.
Michael Redd, Charlie Villanueva, and Mo Williams
should all be dealt.  If the Bucks are lucky enough
to also find takers for Charlie Bell, Bobby Simmons,
and Dan Gadzuric then that's just a little extra icing on the cake.  Come on John, the clock's ticking...

Another team that needs to be active on Thursday is the LA Clippers.  One potential trade that has been circulating certainly makes a lot of sense to me:  Corey Maggette and the 7th pick to Phoenix for Leandro Barbosa and the 15th.  This would open up a spot for Al "Nique Jr." Thornton in the starting lineup while providing some explosiveness and
outside shooting in the back court with Barbosa.
With the 15th pick, the Clips can then go big with a
high energy guy like Robin Lopez or small with Mario
Chalmers.  Standing pat at #7 and taking someone
like Eric Gordon isn't going to get the Clips anywhere...
