More Camby, More Favre, More Dash & DVD Pick of the Week
More Camby
The Clippers offered to give the Nuggets this jersey, but Denver declined. Rex Chapman
said that he didn't want a thing for the former defensive player of the year.
More Favre
The latest in the Favre Saga is that Brett has promised not to crash Packer Training Camp and it appears as though he may now play for Tampa Bay or the New York Jets next season. Jeff Garcia and Chad Pennington are both well past their prime as well, but I'd welcome a deal for either of them along with a conditional draft choice (perhaps a 4th rounder upgraded to a 2nd rounder if Favre meets certain statistical benchmarks). On the other hand, certain Packer fans would prefer that #4 be given an opportunity to return to the team. I haven't been asked yet, but I don't plan to sign the petition...
More Money...er...Mo' Money

Returned to the spotlight sixteen years later at the age of 42 in a sensational stint on "Celebrity Circus"...
DVD Pick of the Week

Although the humor is very lowbrow, "Dirty Work" is often flat out funny. Strangely, I never even heard of it until a couple of weeks ago. Artie Lange is John Belushiesque and the sardonic Norm MacDonald (you either love him or hate him and I'm a big fan) is hilarious in several scenes. Chevy Chase evidently showed up simply to collect a check, but Jack Warden and Chris Farley shine in minor roles. It's certainly not an exceptional comedy by any stretch of the imagination, but if you're in the right mood this mindless movie should provide more than a few laughs...

I have to admit that Helen's kinda hot, but I don't look like her. Your way off base. Try again.
Has your girl Stacey Dash made a movie since 1992?

OK, back to the drawing board. I'll see if I can get a little closer next time.
What, you didn't see "View from the Top", Anonymous? Well, come to think of it neither did I. Of course there was "Clueless" in 95'. After that it has been a little sketchy although there is sure to be a career resurgence after "Celebrity Circus."

This is looking less and less like a sports blog. (not that I have a problem with it) Are you trying to become Richard Roeper's replacement?

Still striving for a 75/25 mix PMD, but things will vary from week to week...
Yes, a couple days ago I heard that Roeper was being replaced. The producers of the show have already told me that they like my eclectic taste in movies and will continue to read my reviews & recommendations. "The Hammer" with Adam Carolla is currently in the on deck circle and the SDSG's opinion should be coming very soon...
