When asked about the Camby trade, Carmelo Anthony said, "Everybody was blowing my phone up," Anthony said. "So I picked up my phone and called back someone who said, 'Did you hear what happened?'. I said, 'Where am I going now?' I was just laughing and joking [before the trade] about how much was involving the Denver Nuggets right now. So I was like, 'Where am I going?' They said, 'Camby got traded.' I said, 'Let me call you back,' and I got off the phone. It was tough to see a guy like that, especially for me, this is my fifth year and I played five years with Camby, it was like we almost started an organization together. To see a Defensive Player of the Year just leave like that for nothing, I still don't understand that."

In other Nuggets news, high energy forward Renaldo Balkman was acquired yesterday from the New York Knicks. Rex Chapman deserves credit for making a very shrewd move to obtain Balkman.
