Kemp Coming Back, Mass Exodus & One More Day Until Leryn
On the Comeback Trail

My Italian is a litte rusty these days, but it certainly appears as though 38 year old Shawn Kemp is coming back!
Not That Big A Deal

When a 6'8 (6'10" with the afro) sixth man for the Atlanta Hawks is the biggest name to bolt for big bucks overseas then it's really a non-story as far as I'm concerned. Many columnists and radio show hosts have been talking about a "mass exodus" of players from the NBA this off-season. I simply don't see it. Here is a list of players who won't be on NBA rosters in October: Childress, Nenad Krstic, Carlos Delfino, Juan Carlos-Navarro, Jorge Garbajosa, Bostjan Nachbar, Carlos Arroyo, Jennaro Pargo, Earl Boykins, and Dan Dickau. The first four names on the list are solid reserves/borderline starters, but the remaining players are primarily bench filler. Once a star caliber player in his prime makes the jump then the NBA should be concerned about a possible domino effect. However, until then this is just much ado about nothing...
I'll Be In Action on August 19th

Now that Michael Phelps has gone eight for eight, all eyes will be turning to Paraguay's Leryn Franco, her javelin, and a quest for gold...
More Kemp

I don't want my last memory of Shawn to be in an Orlando Magic uniform. Hey, wait a second, the Bucks need a power forward who is a force in the paint. Maybe after a season in Italy, Kemp will come back and finish his career in Milwaukee. These are all great highlights, but I particularly like the dunks at the 1:00 and 2:00 marks. Sorry MJ, Nique, Dr. J and Chocolate Thunder, nobody threw them down like Shawn Kemp...nobody.

Shawn Kemp is simply regarded as one of the best power forwards in the NBA history especially during the time when he was with Supersonic and with Gary Payton.
