How about CC Sabathia of the Milwaukee Brewers?  The big man improved his record to a perfect 9-0 since being obtained from the Indians by pitching a one-hitter against Pittsburgh yesterday.  The one "hit" the Pirates did muster was a dribbler in front of the plate that Sabathia muffed.  The Brewers are protesting the scoring of the play and CC may be credited with a no-hitter within the next couple of days...    



Sarah Palin as a sports anchor in Alaska sounding suspiciously like Frances McDormand in "Fargo"...



At the two minute mark, Sarah Palin is asked about the possibility of becoming John McCain's VP and her answer is interesting to say the least...



Most readers of this blog probably think I'm going to be voting for Barack Obama.  While I certainly do admire what he has accomplished, I still have plenty of concerns regarding his ability to effectively lead the country.  Here is a column that touches on a few of my concerns...
