Week 1, Top 25 TV Characters & A Costly Caboose

The Aaron Rodgers Era is officially underway in Green Bay.  Although it's only one game, Rodgers played well against a very tough Minnesota Vikings defense last night and led the Packers to victory.  During the past five weeks, I've taken heat from several people for siding with Ted Thompson and Packer management instead of Brett Favre.   From day one of the Favre Saga I felt Rodgers deserved an opportunity to demonstrate whether or not he could play in the league.  It's clear that Favre has something left in the tank and may even lead the Jets to a double digit win season.   Who knows what will happen the rest of the year, but after one game things are looking good for both the Packers and Jets...

With Green Bay and Denver covering, the San Diego Sports Guy improved to 10-6 against the spread.  Look for my Week 2 picks on Friday morning bright and early...

While you probably have insurance for your life, health, home, and car, how many of you have a multi-million dollar policy for your derrière?  Anyone?  Well, J-Lo does and evidently it's worth $27 million...

$27 million is nothing.  I just took out a policy for $40 million...
