DeSean Jackson made things interesting, but Big Ed Hochuli wins hands down.  In fact, for a short period of time on Sunday I seriously considered renaming this award to: The Hochuli.  No need to pile on anymore though (even though Jerry Jones did earlier today)... I think I made my feelings clear regarding The Call earlier this week.   








A new Weekend Wrap feature debuts today called What Would Shawn Kemp Do?...or WWSKD for short.   During the week, Shawn will take a look at all the e-mails that come in and pick one to address each Saturday.  Here is question #1:

I'm really freaking out about all of the banks and financial institutions going under and I want to make sure my savings will be there for my kids if something happens to me.  I have a mortgage and several accounts at Washington Mutual and it sounds like they only have a few more days to avoid bankruptcy.  What would you do?

Dear PIP,

I realize things look very bleak right now, particularly if a lot of your money is tied up with Washington Mutual.  However, it's always best to remain calm in a crisis.  I'm very encouraged to hear that the government is likely to create an entity similar to the Resolution Trust Corp. in order to dispose of bad assets and ease the anxiety that people like you are feeling.   I wouldn't suggest pulling all of your money out of the bank right now, but short term T-bills are a safe investment if you're really concerned about the financial stability of WAMU. 

Although some reports indicate that I have thirteen children, to the best of my knowledge there are only eight.  Education is very important to me and I want to make sure all of my kids are able to attend reputable learning institutions.  Coverdell Education Savings Accounts and 529 College Savings Plans are both far superior to a simple bank savings account that accrues very little interest.  I'd highly recommend looking into one or both of these plans at your earliest convenience.  Thank you for your question and please let me know how you're doing a couple months from now.

Evidently, the SDSG is huge in Germany.  I don't know if I could draw a crowd of 200,000 like Obama, but I'm sure I could fill the Artland Arena in Quackenbruck.  Here is 2nd Runner-up, Heidi Klum, along with her breasts, Hanz and Franz.   The fact that Heidi named her breasts a dozen years ago is yet another example of information I feel you simply need to know...
