Hitting the Links: Cheerleaders, Palin in Buff, Al & Leryn

Hi, my name is Elisabeth Hasselbeck and I'm pinch hitting for Anna Rawson this evening as host of Hitting the Links.  As you may have heard, I'm not real happy right now because my co-hosts on "The View" have been picking on me.  In fact, I'm so mad about it that I'll probably be heading over to Fox News on a permanent basis within the next couple of months.  I'm being victimized and mistreated in the same fashion as Sarah Palin.  Did you see Kati Couric ask Sarah about the magazines and newspapers she reads?  So what, if Sarah couldn't come up with an answer.  The question was completely unfair and yet another example of Gotcha Journalism.  Besides, there are a lot of great articles about world events in "Cosmopolitan", "Allure", and "Vanity Fair"...

Here are Marlina Moreno and some of her friends.  Nothing like some pictures of the Charger Girls to brighten your day...

A portrait of Sarah Palin in her birthday suit can now be found hanging in a Chicago tavern...

Lane Kiffin was finally let out of his misery earlier today after being fired by Raiders owner Al Davis...for cause.  What cause, you ask.  When asked for specifics, Davis responded by saying, "Cause I said so."  Apparently Davis doesn't want to pay Kiffin another penny so the lawyers will undoubtedly be duking it out for the next couple of years.  I don't think Davis has a prayer of prevailing, but he may want to use Kiffin's decision to try a 76 yard field goal as Exhibit A.   I'm sure Janikowski hit a wind aided 75 yarder in practice without a pass rush one day so Kiffin thought what the hell.  Only on Sunday this kick was into the wind and Antonio Cromartie happened to be in the end zone waiting to run it back.  Definitely one of the most bizarre plays I've ever seen to end a half...

This is the early favorite for my Halloween mask & costume this year...

Leryn has been MIA recently so it's time to bring her back...
