Week 5 NFL Picks, Palin, Bonehead & Babe of the Week

Without the point spread the SDSG is now 37-23, but only one game above .500 versus the spread at 30-29-1. On to the Week 5 picks...
Without the Spread
San Diego
Indianapolis
Tennessee
Carolina
Philadelphia
Chicago
Green Bay
N.Y. Giants
Tampa Bay
New England
Buffalo
Dallas
Jacksonville
New Orleans
Against the Spread
San Diego -7 If they show up in the first half, the Chargers will roll the Dolphins
Houston +3 Wouldn't be surprised if Houston wins though
Tennessee -3 Love the Titan Defense
Carolina -9 1/2 Too many points, but taking the Panthers anyway
Washington +5 1/2 Seems like a field goal game one way or another
Chicago -3 Detroit really needs to win this one; Probably won't happen
Green Bay -4 I'm taking the Pack despite the injury to Rodgers
N.Y. Giants -7 1/2 Not crazy about the line, but the Giants will win the game
Tampa Bay +3 Defense will find a way to cover the spread
New England -3 No way Belichick loses two in a row
Arizona -1 Against my better judgement; My pal Rosey thinks this is a mortal lock
Dallas -16 A late touchdown cover is always possible though
Jacksonville -4 Pitt is banged up and Jacksonville is due for breakout game
Minnesota +3 Game will be close and Peterson may make the difference

I guess my Over/Under wager regarding the number of future Sarah Palin interviews should have specified the involvement of Fox News. Evidently, the current game plan is to have Sarah stick with softball questions lobbed to her from Fox News reporters and anchors from now until election day...

There were a lot of good candidates, but the Bonehead of the Week has to be Al Davis. He has run the Raiders into the ground for the past five years and his press conference earlier in the week was beyond surreal...

You can't stop back to back Babe of the Week winner, Brooke Burke, you can only hope to contain her...
