Erin Andrews Is Sports Blog Gold & A Few Links

On slow news days, a lot of sports blogs often go with a picture and story about Erin Andrews. There is no doubt that Erin has a bangin' (like Sarah, I have no need for g's) body, but if you cut those locks I don't think she is all that special. Yes, I realize that a number of people will think this last statement is blasphemy. So be it. All I'm saying is that if you put a Sam Ronson hairstyle on Erin she merely becomes the crown jewel in my stable of fillies...er...women who I find myself oddly attracted to for some reason. By the way, the current women on this list include Cheryl Hines, Sara Ramirez, and Allison Janney.

Like a couple of comely sideline reporters from years past, Lisa Guerrero and Melissa Stark, Andrews uses her skills, abilities and looks to admirably do her job and get ahead. If she wants to wear a stylish outfit or sun dress, more power to her. In my opinion it's just sour grapes if anyone can't handle Erin's popularity and success...

In a blog entry on the impartial and non-partisan Huffington Post, Mrs. Rich Eisen agrees with me that Trig Palin should probably be in his crib at such a late hour. I definitely understand that the Trigster is a special needs child and I'm not casting aspersions on Sarah Palin as a mother. I'm simply saying that Trig would likely be better off catching a little shut eye instead of being toted around under the bright lights on a stage late at night...

Here is a recent column from the incendiary Ann Coulter unloading on Obama, Biden and the Democrats. Equine Annie certainly doesn't pull too many punches does she? I don't agree with a lot of what comes out of Coulter's mouth, but I do like her moxie. With the addition of Ann and Erin (minus her golden locks) to the stable, it's starting to get a little crowded. I wonder who is going to be added next...
