Last week didn't go so well and I'm now...gulp...47-52-3 against the spread this season.  However, without the spread I'm a very respectable 62-40 so hopefully you're just betting the money lines with my picks.  I sure am...as far as you know.  Here is what I think about the Week 8 games:

While Alex Rodriguez may think Madonna is a babe, I certainly don't and she is not the winner of the Babe of the Week Award...






Oh, what the hell.  Since it's unlikely that Winkie is going to be in the headlines two weeks from now, the least I can do is make her Babe of the Week....







I hate to rip on somone who just overdosed on painkillers, but the Isiah Thomas story is absolutely bizarre.  What would compel a guy to throw his teenage daughter under the bus like Isiah appears to have done?  The only thing keeping Isiah from winning the Bonehead of the Week is Brett Favre.  The New York Jets quarterback locked up the award several days ago for selling out his former team and then lying about it...






It was nice to receive a belated comment on Friday from DRC.  Here is a recent picture of the pride and joy of Sabre Springs in a Boston Red Sox cap...or is that older brother, Terry?  I can't tell...
