Sandiegosportsguy.com, AMEX? & Fantasy Focus

Well, at least reporters in the Philadelphia Eagles press box can still read sandiegosportsguy.com. I'm not certain, but I believe the web filtering product that is being used may come from a San Diego company with executives that have selective memories. Of course, I could be mistaken...

This is getting more than just a little ridiculous now. Credit card companies being bailed out? This can't really be happening...can it? People are asking where to draw the line. My line starts with the airlines, automobile manufacturers and credit card companies like American Express. I realize that a lot of jobs are going to be lost, but enough is enough. I also wouldn't give another $40 to AIG let alone $40 billion. Paulson, Pelosi, Reid and Frank need to be reigned in before this debacle gets even worse...

I'm posting a bonus Fantasy Focus today because I love NBA hoops so much. As mentioned yesterday, I seldom toot my own horn but I must write just a few words about my fantasy basketball team. Other than trying to get another guy who can block a few shots, the biggest problem for team Sarah Palin is that there are too many good players. While most rotisserie fantasy teams struggle to start 10 solid players (an example being the 2nd place team in the league only fielding eight legitimate starters now that Charlie Vanillanojuevos has been benched), my team has at least 12. As a result, there are nights like tonight when very good players like Andrew Bogut aren't able to start. How did Bogut do in the win against the struggling San Antonio Spurs? 10 points, 17 rebounds and 3 steals. That's how...and none of those stats will count. This weekend I'll post about the current standings in League Langdon and I have a feeling I know which team is going to continue to lead the pack...

Wow! The SDSG has glasses that are even more opaque than rose-colored., Gloating about andrew bogut's only semi-good game of the year? CV has as many double-doubles as him this year! In a future post, please list all your draft choices so we can adequately assess you fantasy hits and misses.

Johnny,
As stated before, this blog is all about transparency and it's also a No Spin Zone. I'll definitely be listing my picks in the near future. I was hardly gloating...just pointing out how deep our team is this season. In case you hadn't noticed, Bogut is averaging a double-double and isn't even an automatic start for us. As far as Vanillanojuevos is concerned, he was just supplanted in the starting lineup by a rookie 2nd round pick. Just the facts here at sandiegosportsguy.com...

I really enjoy your blog. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If you ever want to visit, I would be happy to give you a tour of the city.
