Bonehead Contestant #1:  Wow, Donovan, I'm almost speechless.   Shocked isn't a strong enough word to describe my reaction to your press conference yesterday.  I guess with Andy Reid as your head coach it's the blind leading the blind...


Bonehead Contestant #2:  The referee at the end of the Chargers-Steelers game yesterday.  Now it's one thing to screw up a call as it's happening live.  However, it's simply impossible to look at several replay angles and conclude that there was a forward pass on the last play of the game.  I have no doubt that a few hundred thousand gamblers who bet on the Steelers agree with me (thankfully I wasn't one of them).  Admittedly, I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist and have to think something was going on with the point spread...


Bonehead Contestant #3:  I sure hope that $750,000 savings was worth it to billionaire Mark Cuban.  Four years after the fact, Mr. Cuban certainly has some "splainin' to do" to the SEC... 







As far as NFL picks are concerned, the SDSG is firing on all cylinders for the second consecutive week:  12-3 with the point spread and 12-2-1 without.  For the year, the SDSG is now 83-71-5 with the betting line and 104-54-1 without.  Hey Set Shot Bufford, maybe I am a genius (or at least a quasi-genius) after all...







I must have missed this episode of "The Office"...
