Talkin' Hockey For The First Time Ever, I Don't Hear Any Singing Yet So The Chargers Are Still Alive & The SDSG's Top Ten NBA Players Who Could Pass For WNBA Players

This is a landmark day in the history of sandiegosportsguy.com. If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time I've ever mentioned the sport of hockey in a post. When Sean Avery initially made his "sloppy seconds" comment about Elisha Cuthbert a couple weeks ago, he wasn't even considered for Bonehead of the Week. Sure, the comment was a tad inappropriate but I didn't think it was that egregious or warranted a six game suspension. Apparently, it was just the final straw in a long list of indiscretions committed by Avery and the NHL had seen/heard enough. Now Avery's team, the Dallas Stars, has decided that he is persona non grata and kicked him to the curb. This seems a bit harsh to me, but I guess the moral of the story is to never mess with little Kim Bauer...
I haven't heard the dulcet tones of this lady yet. Until I do, there is still hope for the Bolts to stumble into the playoffs. It sure wasn't pretty yesterday, but the Chargers miraculously found a way to rally from 18 down to nip a two-win football team by one point. Assuming the Chargers can beat the Buccaneers next Sunday afternoon in Tampa, it will be up to the immortal J.P. Losman and a reeling Bills team to beat the Broncos in Denver. I'm not giving up, but it certainly doesn't look very good...
Here's another one of Elisha to get your mind off that last picture. Incidentally, even though she's carrying an extra three or four pounds around, isn't it impressive that the lady in the lovely yellow dress is able to do the splits?
