Who Is The Biggest Fantasy Basketball Tease? The SDSG Is 4-0 Against The Spread In The Playoffs, Two More Weeks Until The Clinton...er...Obama Administration and The Cheese Is On The Way

Since yesterday's post was nothing but Bolt talk, this morning we'll go in a few other directions.  Let's start with the SDSG's latest NBA article over at RealGM.com.  Here is an excerpt...

"Filling a fantasy roster will all-around performers is one of the primary keys to success. Getting consistent productivity night after night from the players on your team is also very important, but this is often a very tricky proposition.

Why? Because for every "Sure Thing" like
Antawn Jamison, there are invariably three or four Fantasy Teases on your roster that make you want to pull your hair out. Everyone who plays fantasy hoops knows what I’m talking about as far as a Tease is concerned: a phenomenal line one night while sitting on your bench followed by a string of abysmal performances when active.

A Fantasy Tease is like the girl in your 8th grade class who resembled a young Scarlett Johansson, wore low-cut blouses and short skirts..."

Although I very rarely toot my own horn, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I was 4-0 against the spread this past weekend.  How many so called NFL experts can say the same thing?  11-0 is the holy grail as far as post-season records are concerned and I'm already more than one-third of the way there...

We're now nearly two weeks away from Inauguration Day.  While I've taken a bit of a break from politics since early November, I'm reasonably certain that I'll be diving back in from time to time...

As promised in honor of my Wisconsin roots, 2008's most prolific commenter will be receiving this lovely cheese platter.  It was a very tight race, but commenter Tom Carvel came out on top and will soon have enough cheese to feed his family for the next few years.  PrescottM(arion)D(iaw) and Tracy McMarks were right behind Tom and will be receiving consolation gifts.

Thanks to everybody who took the time to comment in 08'!  Please note that this year comments will also be appearing on the sidebar panel.  The SDSG welcomes any and all comments...even critical ones.  So fire away...

I'll have to up the ante a bit for the most prolific commenter of 2009.  Hmmmm...what could possibly top a cheese platter?
