Big Ben Did Lead The Steelers To Victory, Little Buddy Selig Earns A Pretty Penny, Dane Cook Is Tolerable In "Employee Of The Month", Efren Ramirez Is Going To "Be Happy" and Belated Babe Of The Week

Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes has been getting most of the praise and attention today, but Big Ben deserves props as well.   Sure, the game winning touchdown catch Holmes hauled in was spectacular.  However, Roethlisberger established himself as one of the five best quarterbacks in the league with last night's performance and likely punched his ticket to the Hall of Fame.

Here is MLB Commish Bud Selig praying to God that he earns an annual salary of $17.5 million plus.   Should he really be making more than forty times what the President of the United States earns every year?

Reader Shane V. suggested that I check out "Employee of the Month" with the much maligned Dane Cook and I did so over the weekend.   As far as Cook movies are concerned, it's near the top of the list.   This isn't necessarily an endorsement of the film, but merely an admission that it was better than I thought it would be.   Cook, Harland Williams, Efren Ramirez (more on him later) and even the uniquely named Andy Dick were humorous in several scenes.

Although it wasn't even a better comedy than the 2004 movie with the same title starring Matt Dillon and Christina Applegate, I'm going to give "Employee of the Month" two t-shirts on a scale of 1-5...

Efren Ramirez and Christina DeRosa at the Westwood premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures' Superman Returns

Apparently the scene stealing Ramirez has beein kicking around Hollywood for fifteen years now....although I've only seen him for the past five.  I enjoyed his performance so much that I think I'll find a role for him in "Be Happy"...the feel good movie of 2009.

Dashtacular Dozen regular Serena Williams captured the Australian Open on Saturday and is the Babe of the Week...
