Terrell Who?, Shaq The Showman and Axis of Evil

I don't think I've ever written about Terrell Owens and I'm not about to start today. This remains a T.O. Free- Blog. If you're looking for the latest, ESPN is the place to go. It's 24/7 T.O. and/or A-Rod over there...

On the other hand, I'd be happy to talk about Shaqille O'Neal all day. At this point, I'm wondering whether Shaq is a petulant child or a master showman. Probably a bit of both. In case you missed it, Shaq unloaded on Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy last night:
"...First of all, none of his players like him. When it gets tough, he will become the master of panic like he did before and he will quit like he did before. The one thing I despise is front runners. Yeah, he’s got a young team playing good but don’t be a front runner. Him and his brother and even the legend on the bench ain’t done what I’ve done in my whole career. So flopping would be the wrong choice of words. All the players hate him. The players don’t even like him. I hate front runners. I really do. I don’t like any front runners. There’s a pecking order involved. I’ve been there six times. I ain’t going to let no bum like him rip me and not say anything back..."
Van Gundy laughed off the comments earlier today, but Shaq clearly isn't taking any shit this season. When Chris Bosh accused the Big Cactus of camping out in the lane to get his points last week, Shaq called him the RuPaul of big men. This week it was Van Gundy's turn and I can't wait to see who is next...

Here is the San Diego Union-Tribune's Steve Breen picking up where I left off yesterday. This cartoon was in this morning's paper and isn't too far off track with what is going on in the White House these days...
