I just returned from Sacramento after spending a couple of days with the Maloof brothers.  Joe and Gavin aren't very happy about their team's 14-50 record and have asked yours truly, Drew Decker, to be the Coach/GM next season.   Kevin Martin, Francisco Garcia and Jason Thompson are intriguing young players and I'm seriously considering their generous offer.  Stay tuned...







Speaking of head coach/general managers, I've been referring to the guy in this picture as Mike Dumbleavy on a semi-regular basis since October 8th.   Now national columnists are following suit and calling it the Mike Dumbleavy Era in Los Angeles.  I'm sure these columnists have never seen the blog...wink...wink.    

Props to Uncle Bill (or is it Big Brother Bill?) for his column yesterday.  Loved every word of it.  I'm one of the few Clipper fans left in the world and it isn't inaccurate to say that Mike has simply been a walking abortion on the sidelines this season.  Injuries or no injuries, it is inexcusable that a team with such talent should be 15-49...
