NBA MVP Race Could Be A Photo Finish

Last year's MVP battle between Kobe and Chris Paul was sensational, but LeBron and DWade have taken it to another level this season.   It is truly an epic clash of the titans that could lead to the closest margin of victory in history.  Although Wade has played like  an MVP all season, he has really only been getting national attention since the all-star break.

Just when it looked like Wade would overtake LeBron in the MVP race, the king responded with three triple-doubles in a row followed by a 51 point game last night against Sacramento.  These two guys are definitely going to finish 1-2, but there are also three other worthy candidates as well.  Here is how I would handicap it:

1)  James      5:2     (feeling DWade's Heat)

2)  Wade        3:1     (could take it if he stays hot)

3)  Dwight Howard   8:1    (an absolute monster this season)

4)  Kobe Bryant    12:1     (very solid year)

5)  Chris Paul    18:1      (only other player with a chance, but he's a long shot)
