Ladies and Gentlemen...Kellen Winslow Jr. Is Now The Highest Paid Tight End Ever

San Diego native Kellen Winslow Jr. just became the the highest paid tight end in NFL history:
Winslow, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, agreed to a six-year, $36.1 million deal that includes $20.1 million in guarantees. with incentives, the deal could grow to $42.1 million.
The Bucs acquired Winslow in a trade with the Cleveland Browns last month. He caught 43 passes for 428 yards and three touchdowns in 10 games last season. He has a total of 219 catches for 2,459 yards and 11 touchdowns in 44 career games.
Not bad for a guy with 11 career touchdown passes, a history of four right knee surgeries (as a result of a serious motorcycle accident) and a mysterious hydrocele condition last season.

This is as far as I'll go in terms of analyzing Winslow's testicles...but hey, I bet you didn't know what an enlarged scrotum was called until today, did you?

I was a huge Kellen Winslow, Jr. fan when he was at Miami. Ever since he made that "soldier" statement..everything has seemed to go downhill.
Drew Rosenhaus is a beast...everyone hates that guy except for players. The guy knows how to get $$$ for his clients.
That Winslow trade should go about as well as the Shockey trade to New Orleans.

Rosenhaus is as oily as they come, but you're absolutely right...he negotiates big deals for his clients.
Winslow Jr. grew up on the mean streets of Scripps Ranch here in San Diego...not quite as rough as South Central L.A. I guess he feels the need to try to prove how tough he is to his teammates. Definitely a great physical specimen, but I don't think he'll have half the career of Antonio Gates...
