Upsets Could Abound In The First Round Of The NBA Playoffs

The first round playoff pairings have finally been set and I think there could be a few upsets in both the East and West.  The Lakers and Cavs should both advance despite playing veteran teams that are currently struggling.  However, I truly think the other six series are up for grabs.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if the lower seeded team ended up winning (yes, even the Bulls taking down the mighty Celtics; with Garnett's nagging knee injury anything is possible).

One team in particular to keep an eye on is the Philadelphia 76ers.  Although they stumbled to the finish line, the Sixers match up very well with the Orlando Magic.  Sure, Dwight Howard is a beast in the middle. However, Philly can counter with Samuel Dalembert, Marresse Speights, Theo Ratliff and even rugged power forward Reggie Evans on the Magic man-child.

If Orlando doesn't shoot 40-50% from behind the three-point line in every game then look for the Sixers to make the Magic disappear...
