It's time once again for everybody's favorite game:  Pujols vs. The Padres.  Every week or so, I'll compare Albert's home run total to the number of San Diego Padres stolen bases.  Right now it's Pujols 6  Padres 4.  Even Albert's teammate, Ryan Ludwick, has more homers than the entire Padres roster.  In that race it's Ludwick 5  Padres 4.   

The Padres are on pace for a grand total of 43 stolen bases this season.  Meanwhile, Pujols is projected to hit 61 home runs and Ludwick 51.   It's simply unconscionable that the Padres as a team collectively aren't going to steal 50 bases this year.  Kevin Towers:  you have some splainin' to do...
