Ernie Grunfeld Finally Does Something Right In Washington

The last good move Ernie Grunfeld made was when he stole Caron Butler from the Lakers for Kwame Brown and Chucky Atkins.  That deal was so egregious that Grunfeld was charged with grand larceny.

Since then there hasn't been a lot to smile about in Washington.  However, if Ernie G is able to acquire Randy Foye and Mike Miller  for only a few expiring contracts and the #5 pick then he'll be a very happy man.

Conversely, new Minnesota GM David Kahn better pray that both Hasheem Thabeet and Stephon Curry are available when the Timberwolves pick fifth and sixth on Thursday night.  If not, he's going to be absolutely lambasted for this deal.   If the Wolves end up with just Jonny Flynn and James Harden then it could be the shortest tenure for a GM in NBA history...
