Don't think for a second that Brett Favre isn't playing football this season just because of his announcement several days ago.  #4 will be in a uniform at some point within the next few months and you can take that to the bank...

Hey, Milwaukee Bucks GM John Hammond made a solid move this summer.  Inking Hakim Warrick to a one-year deal should pay dividends for the Bucks.  While the team is still a longshot to make the playoffs, Warrick is a productive player and likely could finish the season as the 2nd or 3rd leading scorer on the team.   

Yesterday afternoon the San Diego Padres traded $50 million...er...Jake Peavy to the Chicago White Sox for some prospects.  Although Peavy has been injured much of the season, this was a complete salary dump.  GM Kevin Towers can spin it any way he wants, but the fact of the matter is that the Padres are a glorified minor league baseball team.  The Milwaukee Brewers are in town this weekend and I'll be attending my first game of the season tomorrow afternoon.  I can't wait to spend $15 for parking and $8 for a beer to watch a AAA team play...
