Getting A Few Things Off My Chest: Brett Favre, The Phil Mickelson & Michael Jordan Connection and Must See TV

Here are ten possible reasons #4 is playing so well this season (via Pacman Jonesin'):
10. He’s just out there throwin’ it around the yard
9. The outstanding offensive scheme implemented by Professor Brad Childress
8. He was able to develop accuracy by throwing 5,000 passes a day during his early years with the Green Bay Packers – This number seems to be greatly exaggerated, but Jon Gruden swears it’s true
7. He’s just like a little kid out there on the field
6. Daily massages and blow jobs from the mainstream media have really helped him relax
5. His altruistic and team first approach to the game that is so endearing
4. The innovative play calling prowess of Professor Childress
3. He worked his ass off in training camp for 12 hours a day was able to keep in shape throwing passes to high school students down in Mississippi while his teammates were working their asses off
2. He possesses tremendous “eye discipline” – Just ask Ron Jaworski
1. He’s a gunslinger – Since you got all the way through the list, it’s time for a special treat. Here is ESPN Sports Nation cutie Michelle Beadle in a Favre inspired commercial parody. Although it’s not particularly humorous, anything with a little Beadle in it isn’t bad.
Oh...and this picture of Deanna Favre is just flat out wrong!
Although I haven't touched this subject in a number of months, a tip came in this morning giving further credence to the Michael Jordan-Phil Mickelson-Amy Mickelson love triangle. When Amy was a Phoenix Suns cheerleader/dancer, evidently she and Michael were more than just friends.
Now let's fast forward several years post-marriage to Lefty. According to the tipster, during a Ryder Cup event Phil walked in on the two of them while Michael was doing a little more than just helping Amy with her putting stroke. Phil and Michael are together up in San Francisco at the Presidents Cup right now and I'm sure it's not an awkward situation at all.
Just call the SDSG the Barnaby Jones Matt Drudge of the sports blog world. While I don't know for sure that the Amy/MJ incident occurred, there appears to be mounting evidence that something went down...stay tuned.
I usually pick one new show a year to watch and this season it's "Community" with Joel McHale and Chevy Chase. There are also several other great character actors in the cast and I definitely recommend that you start watching. Trust me...you won't be sorry.
"Curb Your Enthusiam" has also started up once again and it hasn't disappointed. Every episode this season has been superb. Don't sleep on Curb, because other than "30 Rock" it's easily the best comedy show on television.
Finally, I just had to say that last night's one hour episode of "The Office" was the best ever. I can't think of another episode of the American version of the show that delivered more laughs. If you missed it, go to Hulu.com and check it out.
