Andrew Bogut Gives Himself A High Five After Making All NBA Team (Video)

Congrats to Milwaukee Bucks big man Andrew Bogut for earning a spot on the 2009-2010 All NBA 3rd Team

First team honors went to LeBron James (Cleveland), KevinDurant (Oklahoma City), Dwight Howard(Orlando), Kobe Bryant (Lakers) and Dwayne Wade(Miami).

The second team selectees were Carmelo Anthony(Denver), Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas), AmareStoudemire (Phoenix), Steve Nash (Phoenix) and Deron Williams (Utah).

Tim Duncan (San Antonio), Pau Gasol (Lakers),Andrew Bogut (Milwaukee), Joe Johnson(Atlanta) and Brandon Roy (Portland) made the thirdteam.

Bogut was an absolute beast for the Bucks this season and deserves the honor.  National hoops pundits criticizing the the selection must be either high or clueless.  Bogut averaged 16 points, 10 rebounds and 2.5 blocks for a Bucks team that won twenty more games than anyone expected.

Back in March I listed the Top 15 MVP candidates and twelve ended up making one of All NBA teams.  Three of them (Josh Smith, Zach Randolph and Carlos Boozer) didn't make the cut, but it's hard to argue with the guys chosen for the 3rd team.  Pau Gasol, Joe Johnson and Brandon Roy all had superb seasons.

It's really too bad that Bogut went down with an elbow injury or the Bucks likely would still be playing right now.  Although it wouldn't have been easy, I'm almost certain that MIlwaukee would be putting up more of a fight against Orlando than the Atlanta Hawks.
