5 Random Thoughts About The Upcoming NFL Season & The 911 Call From Tom Brady's Car Crash

Is it me or did Brett Favre look a little rusty last night?  Perhaps another couple weeks of training camp would have helped.  Other than #4's struggles, I have some thoughts about a few more high profile NFL quarterbacks heading into the first week of the season.

5.  Tom Brady
- Although getting into a car accident is no laughing matter, I found the above YouTube video about Bieber...er...Brady extremely entertaining.

4.  Mark Sanchez - Sanchize looked less than competent on "Hard Knocks" and it could be a tough year for the Jets unless he shows improvement.  If Sanchez doesn't become more consistent in the pocket, the f-bombs are definitely going to be flying out of Rex Ryan's pie hole on a weekly basis.

3.  Phillip Rivers - I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling Rivers is going to miss some time this season.  The absence of behemoth offensive lineman Marcus McNeil really worries me.  However, if Rivers can stay healthy then the Chargers should cruise to a division title once again.

2.  Tim Tebow - Call me crazy but I believe the heralded rookie will be very effective this season.  Although he may only be a situational player, don't be shocked if Tebow finished the year with at least 8 rushing touchdowns.

1. Vince Young - All he does is win football games.  The numbers aren't always pretty (OK, they almost never are very good), but somehow Young finds a way to get it done.  Look for the Titans to win at least 11 games this season.
