Kim Kardashian Nude In W Magazine Along With Thoughts About Norv Turner, David Stern & The League

What comes to mind when you look at this picture?

If your first thought is that it's a nude picture of Kim Kardashian then you would be mistaken.  See, Kim's entire body is painted silver so technically she isn't naked.  Right? Er...maybe not.

As far as I'm concerned the first thing that pops into my head is the phrase junk in the trunk.  Is there any doubt that Sir Mix-A-Lot would enjoy these pictures immensely?

Anyway, other than Kim's photo shoot here are three other things that I've been thinking about lately:

1.  San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner thinks it would be "silly" to replace his special teams coach at this time.  I agree.  Why would he even consider making a change when egregious special teams errors have led to three losses this season.  It is absolutely silly for someone to even suggest it.

Is Turner an incompetent head coach or is he just in denial?  After the Seattle loss a couple weeks ago I vowed not to watch another Chargers game until Turner is relieved of his head coaching duties.  It's a good thing I did because I probably would have had a brain aneurysm this past Sunday after watching two blocked punts during the first 10 minutes of the Raiders game.  Norvie is a very good offensive coordinator but the Chargers will never make it to a Super Bowl with him in charge.  Hell, at this point I'd rather have Ted Turner calling the shots on the sidelines for the Bolts.

2.  David Stern is out of control.  Rudy Fernandez being fined $50,000 because his agent said that the Spaniard would rather play in Europe?  Conduct detrimental to the NBA?  What's next, a player being fined because he said the WNBA sucks?  It's an outrage.  Stern's time has come and gone.  New blood is needed in the NBA commissioner's office immediately and Stern simply has to go.

3.  One of my favorite new shows last year was "The League" on FX.  Although there were a couple clunkers, almost every episode in the first season was laugh out loud funny.  Not this year.  The first episode with Chad Ochocinco was awful and the show has only gotten marginally better since then.  Although he has had a few humouous lines, the character Rafi is a major buzzkill.  Like Kenneth on "30 Rock" Rafi tends to suck the life out of every scene he's in.   While I'm not giving up entirely on the show, I really hope it's just a sophomore slump and the belly laughs will be returning very soon.  After an A- first season, "The League" deserves no higher than a C so far.  We'll just have see if things get better the rest of the way.
