The Nonsensical John Wall Rant By Colin Cowherd Was The Final Straw

It's official.  I'm out.  I will no longer listen to Colin Cowherd and his manufactured nonsense on the radio. Not even during my twenty minute commute.  The John Wall rant from earlier this week was the final straw.

A rabid listener of Cowherd e-mailed me shortly after the Wall segment aired and asked me for my opinion.  After responding that I hadn't heard it, the listener summarized Colin's comments and again asked me what I thought.  My initial reaction:  Cowherd is an utter buffoon.

Since that time, Cowherd's latest attempt to "go contrarian" has garnered a lot of publicity and given him exactly what he desired.  The comments about Wall have been everywhere and Cowherd has succeeded in his quest to move the needle

Congrats Colin.  While you may have moved the needle, true sports fans know you're really nothing more than a contrived and insufferable hack desperately trying to become a household name.

In honor of Colin, during the next five minutes I'm going to play a little game of word association with a few other people or things that have been in the news lately.  Away we go...

Randy Moss:  classless but talented

Meg Whitman:  $150 million down the drain

Rajon Rondo:  simply sensational

Blake Griffin:  an absolute beast

The Town:  entertaining and extremely well done

Pat Riley:  snake oil salesman

Shawne Merriman:  enjoy Siberia

Nancy Pelosi:  wretched woman

MSNBC:  a complete embarrassment

Modern Family:  pinnacle of television sitcoms

    Good job, man.

I've often wanted to recall some of Cowherd's rants and play them back when he's been wrong... and I'm not just talking about that stupid Mrs. Doubtfire routine they play incessantly on ESPN.

Look, Wall is a rookie. He's not even old enough to drink yet. It's probably a little too early to judge his entire career based on him doing a little dance in the pre-game introductions.

Let's not forget BronBron does that too. And so has Shaq.

Personally, I think Wall's a sick talent. After five games, he's already averaging 20 points and ten assists. His numbers will be inflated playing on a shitty team and he does need to work on his turnovers but I think he'll be just fine.

I agree, sir. I've only suffered through Colin Cowherd a few times, this youtube clip being the last one. Stop talking, and please stop making the rest of us look like idiots. This is typical radio--at it's worst.
