Chiefs & Chargers Flying High, Paul Westphal Needs To Be Fired & R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen

Lt. Frank Drebin:  "Cheer up, Ed. This is not goodbye. It's just I won't ever see you again."

The face of "Police Squad" and the "Naked Gun" movies will be greatly missed.  It's not goodbye though.  We just won't see Leslie again.

How about the Chiefs and Chargers road wins yesterday?  Talk about a couple of beat downs.  As mentioned last month, Dwayne Bowe and the Chiefs are for real.  The Chargers?  They just wait until November to start playing football.   It should be an epic clash next month when these two titans go head to head in San Diego.  Look for the Bolts to win by at least a touchdown.

Paul Westphal and his dart board need to be kicked to the curb in Sacramento.  While the Kings have enough talent to be close to a .500 team, Westphal continues to sabotage the franchise's success with his fickle substitution patterns.  There is literally no rhyme or reason to what Westphal does from game to game.

Guys need to know their roles.  Plain and simple.  Jerking a player's minutes around serves absolutely no purpose.  Tyreke "Black Hole" Evans is the only exception to Westy's madness and Reke doesn't even deserve the preferential treatment.  Now in his sophomore season, the shoot first ask questions later reigning ROY is only a step or two above Corey Maggette.

Memo to the Maloofs:  The sooner you can Westy the better off your team is going to be.
